Work out Day #8
Walk around the pound in my apartment complex. Short and Sweet due to me having to work today. Plus I'm so sore all over!

Encouraging Scripture of the Day:

" If you don't know what your doing, pray to the Father. He LOVES to help. You'll get help, and won't be condescended to when you ask for it. Ask boldly, believingly, without a second thought. People who "worry their prayers" are like wind-whipped waves. Don't think you're going to get anything from the Master that way, adrift at sea, keeping all your options open." -James 1:5-8

" Since behaviors become habits, make them work with you and not against you." -E. Stanley Jones

Goal of the Day:
To ask God for his help in all I do. To ask him Boldly, believingly, and without doubt. To have faith in him knowing he will give me all the desires of my heart. I will move mountains for me. My mountains are each pound I need to lose and I know "I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength!" -Philippians 4:13

Here's a fun Smoothie Recipe!

Strawberry banana is my favorite flavor combination in all of life, so I’m really excited about this smoothie. Making it is simplicity itself. Cut up a banana, toss in some strawberries, add an orange for flavor, your yogurt, your ice, and voila! That’s all you have to do!

Recipe:
  • 1 cup of strawberries
  • 1 banana
  • 1/2 cup of low-fat yogurt or milk
  • ice cubes
  • 1/2 of a sliced orange
  • Place all the ingredients in the blender and blend until smooth.

My struggle on day #7

Today has been a bit of a struggle for me. I slept in this morning until 10am, (normally I'm awake by 8am) and I started making food and everything I did went wrong. I was just super clumsy and frustrated. I finally realize that I didn't have my prayer time, my workout time, my devotion time, or my devotion time with my husband this morning. I asked God once I realized this to forgive me and give me peace and joy for the day. I then bring my husband his lunch to work, go to the bank, come home make myself an avocado smoothie and workout at my apartments gym. While I'm working out, I'm struggling to keep walking on the treadmill, I am just so tired. I realized I never had my coffee this morning either.. after my workout I read some of my book that I'm reading "Not a Fan" and did my devotions, and prayed again. I really just need more energy, I keep telling myself. OR Maybe I need rest? My body is soooo sore and I'm so sleepy. Is it possible I haven't eaten enough for me working out? hmmm...today is a bit rough, i made a mess in the kitchen and I'm just too tired to clean it up. Pray for me please everyone I could use it today!
